Focus on your money maker is designed to be a lifestyle.  It’s a place where people can come to learn about all things money and the lifestyle of those that make money. By learning from each other and from those that have already found their money makers, we can all achieve the goals that we desire.

Generally we will try to answer two questions:

1. What is your Money Maker?

2. How do you focus on it?

If you think the answer to question 1 is your job, you’re wrong sucker.  Unless you are one of the lucky few that gets a financial reward for putting more effort into your job, your job is not likely your money maker.  Jobs are for paying bills, not making money.  I can’t tell you what your individual money maker is, but we will share stories of those that have found their money maker and through their stories you will begin to realize that it is something more than your job.

The answer to question 2 is equally important.  Now that you’ve found your money maker, how do you stay focused on it?  We will spend a hell of a lot of time on question 2.  We will talk about developing good habits from a financial perspective and a personal perspective.  Budgets, investing, 401k’s, learning how to stick it to the man, etc.  Whatever those habits of successful money makers are, we want to learn those habits because it will allow us to focus on our individual money makers.

Finally, you are your money maker.  We will discuss ways to keep yourself sharp and healthy.  If you can’t function as a money maker, you can make money, duh!

The problem with most sites is that one person is telling you how and what to do with your money. Unfortunately, there are millions of ways to achieve your individual financial goals and one person telling you how they achieved their goals might not fit your style. So instead of one individual telling you what you should do with your money, Focus On Your Money Maker is a community of people all sharing their styles and learning from each other.

By running this website much like a forum where someone submits a question and the group helps to answer the question, we believe that the community as a whole will benefit from the individual input. By bringing those questions to the front page of the website and not trapped deep in some forum, the community will be the determining factor on the outcome of the website.
